Sincere thanks to the 20 parents who returned the Behaviour Policy parent consultation sheet.
All of the comments have been supportive to school in ensuring that children behave appropriately. Comments recognised the importance of parents being good role models for children’s behaviour and the need for school and parents to work in partnership to promote good behaviour. In terms of grading the current behaviour at the school, we received the complete range from Outstanding to Unsatisfactory. However, the majority of replies indicated that behaviour is Good. We will ensure that the results from the consultation are included with staff and pupil views in order to update our Policy. |

Mrs Franklin’s Maternity Leave...
Friday 26 February will be my last day at school. As you will be aware, I was originally hoping to make it to the end of the spring term. It has been an incredibly difficult decision to start my leave early, although with only a few weeks left to go and struggling to make it up the path every day, now really is the time to give in!
The Local Authority have my replacement in-hand and you will be notified as soon as possible about the arrangements.
I am quite sure that the news of my new arrival will travel fast and who knows, I may even make history as the first staff member to have a baby boy??!!
Wishing you all well whilst I am on leave.
Mrs Franklin

Unfortunately, we have received some more complaints from local residents about cars parking along Airfield Road and on the grass verges. After half term please can all parents be extra careful and considerate . Once again, we do recognise that parking is a real problem...roll on the opening of the other end of Airfield Road as this may help to ease the situation. |
